Decisions shape our lives- the quality of your decisions will determine the quality of your life. I thought of sharing three tips that can help to improve one’s decision making;📌 check the source of your information - is the information accurate , credible, true and complete📌 Check the motive behind the decision- why are you making that decision- 📌 check the outcome you are pursuing- is the outcome supporting who you want to become ( your values, visions , dreams , ambitions or aspirations)#intentionalliving#personal-growth

The foundation of exceptional decision-making lies in clarity. To make effective choices, you must first gain crystal-clear clarity about your goals, values, and priorities. What is your ultimate outcome? What do you truly desire? Clarity is power.

A nice addition to the Life Design literature. Here Rainer Strack et al. apply Corporate Strategy to Life Design. This is analogous to how 6+ years ago Bill Burnett and Dave Evans applied Design Thinking to Life Design. Both fit exceptionally well. My Life Design definition and approach (links in comment) are aligned with the video and the companion Harvard Business Review article, where Life Strategy is defined in HBR as “An integrated set of choices that positions a person to live a great life.” I like the seven strategic questions. What I would add paired to “What is my life purpose?” is “What are my core values?” I had not thought of the concept of using benchmarks in life design. This is a good addition to my thinking and something I’ll want to dig into. The Strategic Life Units analysis parallels the many “Wheel of Life” exercises dedicated to evaluating the satisfaction level of various areas of one’s life. I love (disclaimer: I have an MBA and I’m a former consultant) the Strategic Life Portfolio 2x2 that places the Strategic Life Units along axes for Satisfaction and Importance and makes the size of the bubble the time invested in the area. Note: the companion article includes a link to download a one-page “My Life Strategy” worksheet that would nicely support annual or quarterly introspection.#2x2matrix #analysis #corevalues #fulfillment #lifedesign #lifestrategy #meaning #positivepsychology #purpose #satisfaction #StrategicLifePortfolio #strategy #values #vision #wheeloflife
