Spent the back half of this week in our beautiful Bridgewater, NJ office for the 3rd Annual ERG Symposium! We got to listen to paraolympian Lex Gillette speak, have a virtual and physical ERG fair, host a panel discussion with our North American ExComm, and run through training exercises on how to build better employee resource groups. It was inspiring being with other ERGs that have had so much success across all of our sites in North America. I am so fortunate that Henkel is so passionate about continuing to support and grow ERGs globally. My favorite thing about being in a leadership role in AVID is getting to meet so many people in our organization, and this week I got to meet them in person! I am excited to see what our ERG can do in the next year with the new skills we learned this week! After multiple tornadoes hit our town and surrounding areas this weekend, a few from our team went to the office today and gathered up all of the detergent samples, soap and Snuggle bears we could spare and delivered them to Rogers High School, which is serving as a relief hub for our community. The damage around town is unbelievable as well as the amount of people that need assistance. Supplier friends, I encourage you to donate what you can from your offices. Last week, I had the privilege of being on two panels as part of Henkel’s focus on inclusion during the month of April. On Wednesday, I joined Henkel colleagues around the world on Decoding Minds: The Value of Autism and ADHD and Friday on the launch of AVID: Awareness of Visable and Invisable Disabilities, one of Henkel North America’s newest Employee Resource Groups. As a caregiver and ally to the neurodiverse community, it was so amazing to be apart of both panels and the feedback on both events was astounding. I am excited to continue lending my voice and experiences to accelerate our DE&I efforts at work and in our local NWA community.

The second wave of our Schwarzkopf Salon Takeovers commenced this week in Walmart stores in Boerne & Pasadena, Texas! Our wonderful team of stylists, lead by Wendy Burns and our Gratsy partners turned these empty salons into pure magic ✨ this week! Look for the team next week in Margate & Casselberry Florida!
